WELLONE RECEIVES GRANT FROM CHARTERCARE FOUNDATION

WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care is pleased to announce it has received a grant in the amount of $13,683.13 from the Chartercare Foundation. 

​The grant was awarded in conjunction with WellOne’s Pediatric Dental Program and will support the purchase of new equipment for one of WellOne’s dental treatment rooms in its Pascoag facility. The equipment includes patient, dentist and assistant chairs, overhead track light, and the delivery/suction/vacuum system used in the provision of dental care.

Bancroft, president, and CEO of WellOne. “Keeping up-to-date with the rapid changes in dental technology is critical to elevating our patients’ experience and to providing our dental practitioners an environment that is conducive to achieving excellent outcomes.”

The Chartercare Foundation awards grants through a competitive application and review process. Paula Iacono, Executive Director, stated: “We are pleased to partner with WellOne in serving the northern RI community; we continue to be impressed with the quality and scope of care, as well as the dedication of the WellOne staff.”

WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care is a 501 (c)(3), non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center that provides primary medical, dental and behavioral health services to more than 16,000 Rhode Islanders each year in the towns of Burrillville, Foster, North Scituate and North Kingstown.
